Why are we here? 
Some members of our online community are student loan consolidation experts and bloggers that are passionate about educating the students on the benefits of various government programs that many lenders refuse to reveal. Others are champions of a cause and stand for loan reform, student lender accountability and student rights.

How We Got Started. 
It all started in the Spring of 2007. A start-up company was founded in Mission Valley, a suburb of San Diego, CA. There was alot of news in the papers about fraudulent lenders, and unethcial consolidation companies being investigated for illegal lender practices. The idea was spawned. 

Frustrated with the tremendous amount of misinformation on the web and the shady practices in the industry, the leaders of the company said, Let's create a community where the experts can give the students the information they need so these types of illicit practices can be avoided.
